Headphones have become an indispensable device in people’s daily lives, meeting their business and entertainment needs. Headphones are undoubtedly one of the most frequently-used devices, serving a wide variety of purposes such as listening to music, watching movies, playing games, making phone calls, or learning a foreign language.
On VNA’ flights, headphones are the “key” for passengers to access the carrier’s diverse entertainment bank. In addition to an enormous collection of classic and modern movies from Hollywood, Asia, and Vietnam, music lovers could enjoy their favorite tunes thanks to an extensive collection of domestic and international songs.

Therefore, proper cleaning of headphones is of utmost importance. According to common procedures, before getting on the aircraft, headphones must be cleaned, and ear pads must be replaced as per the sanitation regulations. However, amid the Covid-19 epidemic, to ensure passengers’ health and minimize the virus’ spread, VNA has decided to take an extra step – disinfection using specialized equipment after the proper cleaning is conducted.
Accordingly, as from February 2020, VIAGS has officially carried out the disinfection of the headphones’ surface after they’re collected from arriving flights. Particularly, specialized staff members will use 70% alcohol to clean the headphones’ surface, allowing passengers to fully enjoy every moment of VNA’ entertainment services so each journey will be exciting and memorable.

Previously, VNA has also taken a series of measures to ensure passengers’ health and to minimize the potential spread of Covid-19. Specifically, VNA staff members disinfect all aircraft operated international flights returning to Vietnam, measure the body temperature of passengers departing from Europe before their boarding, and provide passengers with masks for use during the flight. Additionally, VNA also carries out disinfection after every flight, especially at frequent points of hand-contact from passengers.
